WizEducators was born in the busy homes of two moms, and former teachers, with a simple goal: connect quality educators and families.

Parents are busy; we get it! We take the worry and stress out of finding the best tutor for your child. No more rummaging through facebook posts or hounding the local school district; we pride ourselves in matching families with quality educators that we would hire for our own children.

We are a locally owned, small business that was created in response to the need for additional academic support (tutors) during the COVID pandemic. In 2021, we expanded our business to include after school and summer academic programming. We also offer day camps on non-school days for K-5th graders. The districts we currently work within include: Edina Public Schools, Wayzata Public Schools, Minnetonka Public Schools and Shakopee Public Schools.

All of the educators within our network are one of the following: current teachers, past teachers or students seeking a degree in education (with a few exceptions). We personally recruit and interview each educator to ensure that they have the experience, education and knowledge required to provide your child with the support that they need.

As community members, we are very aware of the many inequities within education, which have unfortunately been emphasized by the current pandemic. Therefore, an integral part of our mission at WizEducators is to maintain a scholarship fund that supports local students in need of academic services. At check-out, you will have the opportunity to donate and contribute to the success of other children!

Whether you are seeking subject-specific tutoring, homework help, intervention-based support, or all of the above; we hope to be a destination that you can count on for locating high-quality educators in your area. We currently serve students in grades K-12. We look forward to helping your child reach their goals!
